I am a media business scholar and research fellow at the Media Management and Transformation Centre, Jönköping International Business School, Sweden. I am primarily interested in how firms in the copyright industries (film, book, music, videogames, etc) adapt their organisational capabilities to changing markets and technologies. I am also interested in the relationship between the firms’ capabilities and their output and performance. Current research projects: 1) How are book publishers able to cope with young consumers’ shrinking interest in book-reading and growing interest in creating and sharing their own media objects, based on well-established entertainment brands? 2) The practices governing the development of new musical talents have changed in the last couple of years. How does this development affect the careers of performers, musicians and songwriters? 3) How did broadcast television distributors develop their organisational capabilities during the 1990’s in order to cope with the technological changes in their industry during that period?
